PANEL OF EXPERTS

Panel of Experts under "Klishin & Partners" Attorneys at Law was established in 1996. Among its tasks are elaboration of expert recommendations and opinions, holding of seminars and discussions on matters related to the current Russian legislation, debating on drafts of statutory acts as well as on law-enforcement practice, including judicial practice. Moreover, the Panel analyses and briefs data pertaining to the application of current legislative norms by state bodies, issues arising from judicial practice and other legal matters requiring scientific appraisal and generalization. The Panel is chaired by Professor Andrey Shugaev, Attorney, Doctor of Law, Scientific Advisor of "Klishin & Partners Moscow" Attorneys at Law, Honorary Lawyer of Russia. Well-known scientists and politicians, government officials, attorneys take part in the Panel's activities. Participants of the Panel's meetings have reviewed topical issues related, in particular, to application of specific norms, operation of different institutes of civil legislation, constitutionality of financial and tax laws, arbitration disputes in the sphere of management, law-enforcement practices in the sphere of executory process. Results of the Panel's activities are reflected in articles published in major law bulletins, in seminars and keynotes made by the Panel's members, in collaboration with federal agencies involved in law-making and law-enforcement practices.

At present the Panel of Experts is assisted in its activities by "Klishin & Partners Moscow" Attorneys at Law, Advocacy Chair of the International Law Faculty of Moscow International Institute (University) of International Relations of the RF Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Institute of Commercial Law.
